When your harddrive is filling up with images, and you decide to move them to an external drive, follow this process to avoid having to analyze all photos again after the move.
As the photos are not physically stored withing Excire Foto, moving photos to an external drive is a 3 step process:
1. Move your folder with the actual photos using your file system (Windows or Mac) to an external drive. Make sure to keep the same folder structure with folders and subfolders.
In Excire Foto these folders will be marked with a red X.
2. Reconnect the Excire folders with their new location using the "Relocate" command from the context menu.
3. Optional: Now you can move the whole Excire Foto Database as well to another location following the steps in this article: https://forum.excire.com/showthread.php?tid=664
