Excire Search 2022 (Version 3.0.0) is a paid upgrade with a new license key.
Excire Search customers will receive an upgrade discount. To receive the discount the email address used when purchasing a previous version must be entered in the "customer discount" field before purchase.

This version contains the following improvements:
  • The "Search for Duplicates" has been added.
  • In "Search by keyword" the possibility has been added to search for photos containing at least one of the selected keywords and/or none of the selected keywords.
  • When the "Fast initialization" option is disabled, virtual copies are initialized directly instead of using the original photo.
  • "Transfer Keywords" now allows to edit custom keywords of a photo even if no Excire keyword has been assigned to it.
  • "Transfer Keywords - batched" now also shows category keywords (i.e. "photography"), if the option "Show all keywords" is enabled.
  • In "Re-initialize Photos" options have been added to update transferred keywords.
  • The exact setting of the similarity limit in similarity searches has been simplified.
  • The performance of searches in large catalogs has been increased.
  • Minor bugs have been fixed.
  • The trial period has been reset.

I couldn't get the upgrade discount as mentioned in the post. I'm getting an error message : "You are not permitted to receive this discount."
I wrote an email to support hoping for a solution.
It's also strange : in Lightroom, under Excire search v2.1.2, when you click on check for update, it keep saying that I have the latest version.
But also there is a message about a new version "Excire Search 2022 arrived".
And the forum does not mention the Release V2.1.2 ?

these issues should be reported to your support team to fix it

As mentioned above, the new version can (and must) be installed over the existing, older version.
With the purchase of the upgrade, a new license key will be generated that is valid for the new version.

To receive the discount, it is necessary to use the same email address as it was used for purchasing the older version. It there are problems, please contact our support.

Me too. I also didn't get the upgrade discount as mentioned in the post.

Please contact our support by email in these cases. In most cases this happens due to misspelled email addresses.

Also, there is a difference between free updates within one main version (these show up when you click on the update button), and paid upgrades to a new version with added functionality (which have to be purchased in our online shop).

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread but .....
I purchased Excire Analytics but in the confirmation email the download for the software is missing!
Instead the download include two manuals?

Excire Analytics is activated by entering the associated license key and does not need to be downloaded separately.
Please just follow the description in the included instructions.

As this is the wrong thread, indeed, this post will be removed from it soon. I hope the answer will find you before.
