Image format is not supported
#1
Question
Hello, I'm working on initializing my library so that I can utilize the new search for a duplicate function to its fullest. But when I've been working on the initializing I see the following "error" message at the bottom of the pop-up window. "Warning: X photos of your selection could not be initialized, most likely because the image format is not supported." (See also attached image).

Does anyone have any idea which file formats are supported? Or know any other common causes of getting this message? I know that I have the file formats .NEF and .jpg, I think I also have .dng, are these supported?  Huh

Also, I apologize if this was supposed to be posted in frequently asked questions but don't have the ability to create a new post in that thread.

Hi,

could you please send us a bug report from the plugin manager of Excire Search?
This would give us the possibility to look closer.
Normally, jpg and nef files should not be a problem. There might be something else going wrong in this case.

Hello, here is the error report.

And I just had a thought. Is there any way of "filtering out" initialized photos so that only photos that are not initialized are shown? Maybe that could help to see if there is anything special about the files that can't be initialized, maybe they are broken or missing, etc.
